Edd Greer's Bio
When Edd was 6 years old his family would take himIn
dancehalls in
Elvis. They had him dressed in blue suede shoes, black Leather jacket, and
collar turn up and hair combed back. The crowds loved him and would throw money
on the Floor in front of him. He did not realize it but this was The beginning
of his music career. His father gave him A guitar at age 12 and he
learned to play throughout High school. No matter where he went he always had
A guitar with him.
It was not until years later when he Was playing guitar in a Church outreach program doing jail services when a promoter noticed him. He was asked to come into a local recording studio to do Some demos. One year later his first record was pressed in Nashville and titled “ AMERICAN FARMER” The record Were released and played on radio stations throughout The south and made its way into the international airwaves. A talent manager named Carol Booth signed him to a Contract to negotiate him a record deal in Nashville. Carol Booth was the manager who first signed Tim McGraw To a contract and took him to Nashville to meet with Curb Records. Both Edd and Tim’s first songs were recorded In a small studio named JY STUDIOS downtown in West Monroe, La.
